What we collect
When you complete our Irish Language Services Survey, we collect:
- Your survey responses (age group, area, language preferences, service priorities)
- Organisation affiliations (if provided)
- Optional comments
- Basic analytics data (pages visited, time on site, device type)
Why we collect it
We use this information to:
- Understand what Irish language services matter most to communities in Dublin
- Provide insights to partner organisations to improve public services
- Improve the survey experience
Analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how people use the survey. This includes cookies that track:
- Pages visited
- Time spent on the survey
- Device and browser type
- General location (city level)
You can accept or decline analytics cookies when you first visit the site. The survey works either way.
Who we share data with
- Partner organisations: Aggregated, anonymised survey results (never individual responses)
- Google Analytics: Anonymous usage data (if you accept cookies)
We do not sell your data or share individual responses with third parties.
How long we keep it
- Survey responses: Up to 2 years after the project concludes
- Analytics data: 14 months (Google Analytics default)
Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to:
- Access your data
- Request correction or deletion
- Withdraw consent for analytics at any time
